Wee bit of rather good news: we've attained funding for a boom mike, extension pole and 'dead cat' windshield, which could potentially make a huge difference on the sound front. The feedback from the exam board on your work last was effusive in its praise, flagging up sound as the only real area of some weakness, an aspect which in many ways was beyond your control using the camcorders mics.This is expensive equipment and loaning out to use outwith school will stop instantly if anyone returns it in any way damaged; I would also urge you not to loan it out if you're not certain you can look after it, given that you're liable for any equipment you loan out.
The order should go in before mid-term, so with luck it will be here and ready to use in good time for your location shoots after the break.
