Thats a lot to squeeze in, which is why last friday was the preferred date for finalising shooting. I'll review the blog requirements and photocopy a complete checklist shortly, but its vital, to safeguard your marks for Research and Planning, that you can evidence:
- thorough research into the codes and conventions of the format (SF/TT; film mags; posters) and genre/s ... with frequent, detailed and specific references to actual media texts
- frequent audience feedback
- use of a variety of new media (podcasts, YouTube etc)
- meticulous, detailed planning prior to shooting: storyboards, screenplays, shotlists, drafts, production schedule - you need to upload some footage that you shot but rejected; as you're designing poster/mag, keep saving (as draft 1 etc) to show evidence of the changes you made
- additional points were made previously
- even if you only set aside a couple of hours to do what you can, I'd suggest you scour back through as much of this blog - and the British Cinema blog - as you can, as you'll find a lot of info, resources and analysis that you can use for your blogs!!!
The marking criteria is summarised in this document - reproduced below:
